Help Fight Breast Cancer – The 8th Annual Score For a Cure Soccer Tournament

breast cancer ribbon with soccer ballLANCO Fieldhouse will be hosting the 8th Annual 2013 Score For Cure Adult Soccer Tournament on Saturday May 18, 2013 and hopefully this will be the best tournament ever!

It will be a great weekend of competition, fun, and also raise money to fight breast cancer.

All games will be held indoor at LANCO Fieldhouse and will be 6v6 format with a minimum of 3 games.

There will be the following divisions:

  • Womens Over-30
  • Womens Open
  • Mens Open
  • Coed Open

In addition to the  tournament, we are also on the same day, holding a Local Celebrity & Family Fun raffle and silent auction.
We have a variety of celebrity items and family fun and recreation items that will be available to win.

fight this terrible disease.

We already have teams that are signing up and are limited in space, so if you are planning on entering a team, do not hesitate.

Summer Soccer Season Begins June 3rd

Registration is LIVE beginning April 17th. Last day to register is May 1st.

Playoffs/Championships July 29th-August 8th

Competitive (Open, Co-ed) Monday Nights 6:15 and 7:15

Recreational (Open, Co-ed) Thursday Nights 6:15 and 7:15

Over-30 (Co-ed) Thursday Nights 6:15 and 7:15

$65 per person. Individuals will be placed on teams.

Coed Adult Soccer at the Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA

Registration for Coed Adult soccer has opened at the YMCA. The games will be played at the Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA on Sunday afternoons. The league will be a competitive, outdoor league for players 18 years and up. The registration is $500.00 per team, but if you would like to register as an individual please feel free to submit a registration form and you will be placed on a team.

The league will be an 8 week season followed by single-elimination playoffs at the Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA. Sign your team up for this fun, yet competitive league.

Work off your Thanksgiving pounds this Friday at 3pm at LAMS.

This is all ages coed outdoor soccer. There is usually a pretty good turn out.

Fall PickUp Soccer

There are some changes to the PickUp page for the fall. We’ve added Tuesday nights behind the Villa Nova on Harrisburg Pike Lancaster. There’s still pickup on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Wyomising.

Summer Pick-up Soccer is Back! Near Lancaster

Summer pick-up is back at Foundation Fields at the Overlook complex in Manheim Township, near Lancaster

Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-Dark

Play starts tonight 6pm and goes until dark, or until no one can run anymore. Which ever comes first. This is not an organized event, so show up, bring a white and a dark shirt, organize yourselves into teams and have fun!

Tuesdays: Family
Thursdays: Adult men (and competitive women).

The fields are offered at no charge to us by the Manheim Township Soccer Club. So please don’t play when the fields are wet, so we don’t tear up the fields.

In addition because we want to keep it friendly and safe for everyone, we only have a couple of requests.

  • No slide tackles
  • And please wear the proper protective gear

LCBC Adult Summer Soccer Registration Is Open

There will be two divisions:lcbc summer soccer
Competitive and Recreational
Both coed 18+

Any player not already part of a team may sign up under “need a team”. All other players will be able to select their captain’s name from the drop-down box.

There will be a Captains’ Social on Thursday, May 31st at 6pm in the Conference Room at LCBC.  Dinner provided.  For all players there will be an Open Practice from 7pm to 8pm.  Our goal is to hand out uniform t-shirts to captains that day.

A schedule will be forthcoming, but games begin June 4th and end August 9th.  The week of August 16th has been reserved for make-ups due to inclement weather.
