The KSG Tournament is this weekend and there are still slots for teams in Over 30 Women and over 50 Men. Sign your team up today!

The 2013 Annual Keystone State Indoor Games is just around the corner. March 9 and 10 to be exact.  This is always a great indoor soccer event and will once again be hosted in Central PA by Lanco Fieldhouse in East Petersburg, PA. Currently there are still some openings for teams. So if you were thinking of entering a team. There’s still a chance! Here’s a list of how many teams are registered and how many slots are open.

18+ Female 9 teams –  1 more team
30+ Female A Division 3 teams –  2 more teams
30+ Female B Division 10 teams – closed
30+ Male 4 teams –  2 more teams
40+ Female 7 teams –  1 more team
40+ Male 9 teams –  1 more team
50+ Male 10 teams – closed
60+ Male 4 teams – closed
Open Male 3 teams - 2 more teams

Fall PickUp Soccer

There are some changes to the PickUp page for the fall. We’ve added Tuesday nights behind the Villa Nova on Harrisburg Pike Lancaster. There’s still pickup on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Wyomising.

If you’re Over 50 and looking to get out an play, this Wednesday at The Quarry in Wyomissing is your chance!

First Over-50 Soccer Game of the Fall Season Tomorrow 9/14/11

Just a reminder that the first Over–50 game of this fall season will start tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 14, at 7:00 at the Quarry.

You MUST be registered to play. If you are already registered with an over-40 team Bryan should have your registration from that team, and your cost is only $5 for the season. This does not include referee costs which will still be collected by the team captains before each game, approximately $5/ a person. If you are NOT registered anywhere, your cost is $20 for the whole season which includes your official registration to the state, and secondary insurance coverage (mandatory.)

Bryn will be there around 6pm  for registration.

Last Over-50 Game of the Summer Tonight

Just a reminder that the last summer Over-50- game will be tonight at 7:00 at the Quarry.

We are registering for the actual fall season with games every 2 weeks beginning September 14, Wednesday night, at 7:00 at the Quarry. See Jeff Frank, Polo Shish, or Barry Christ to fill out a form for one of these 3 teams. You must be 50 or over to sign. Also, if you have already signed an Over-40 form, you must still complete one for Over-50 with one of these 3 gentlemen signing as well. These forms will be sent in to the state.

Tonight’s over 5o match is canceled for tonight due to wet conditions.

Next game is schedule for 8/24/11, 7pm at the Quarry.

Lancaster Kickers Over 50s Win Gold at the Keystone State Games

The Lancaster Kickers Over 50 men won the gold at the games this past weekend in the PA Keystone Games 7v7 tourney.

Losing the opener 0-3, they then tied 2-2, and won 3 in a row to garner the gold! Goals for=12 Goals Against=6 Congrats!

Attention all Over 50 Soccer Players: Players Needed for Fall Teams in Lancaster & Reading Areas

over 50 soccerOver 50 Men’s teams forming in the Lancaster/Reading area now for the fall season.  Right now there are enough men committed for about half a team. They are looking for enough to make two teams.

Over 50 Players – Cross-Border game opportunity!

We have been contacted by a Canadian team traveling to see some of the international club matches in the US. They are interested in scheduling a “friendly” with Over 50 players in this area.
