Soccer Coach’s Training for Coaches (or aspiring coaches)

Are you a coach and want to sharpen your coaching skills? Or do you want to be a coach? Well, there are many training opportunities in Central, PA for soccer coaches:

  • Coach’s Training for Coaches (or aspiring coaches) – NSCAA level II

What: NSCAA Youth Level II training course
Course is 5-hour course directed toward a person newly involved in coaching soccer. While the “target” is coaches if U5 thru U-10… this course is excellent for coaches of ANY age group.  You are NOT required to have taken Level I course.  There is no pre- requisite.
When: Register NOW – Course is Saturday, February 5, 2011
Cost: $45 – includes manual and certificate of completion.

  • Coach’s Training – Clinic for Coaches (or aspiring coaches) of youth thru High School

When: Register NOW – Clinic is on Saturday Feb 12 from noon until 4pm
Where: Warwick High School (in Lititz , PA )
Instructors: Matt Gwilliam & Todd Hoffard, the Head Coach & Assistant Coach for Temple Women ‘s Soccer.
Two sessions (2 hours each)
“Team Pressing With a Purpose & Intelligence”
“Training a Goalkeeper’s Positioning and Discussing their Tactical Role Within the Team”
Cost: $20 for one session, $35 for both sessions

  • Coach’s Training for Coaches (or aspiring coaches) – NSCAA level V

What: NSCAA Youth Level V training course
Course is 13-hour course designed for the coach working with players 11-18 years of age.  The emphasis is on learning to work with the developing player within both an individual and team concept.
When: Register NOW – Course is Saturday/Sunday (2/25 – 2/26, 2011)
Cost: $75 – includes manual and certificate of completion.

  • Coach’s Training for Coaches (or aspiring coaches) – NSCAA level VI

What: NSCAA Youth Level VI training course
Course is 21-hour course designed for the coach working with players 11-18 years of age.  The emphasis is on learning to work with the developing player within both an individual and team concept.  This course includes the level V material, adding 8 hours of additional instruction.
When: Register NOW – Course is Friday Feb 25 (5-10), Saturday Feb 26 (8am – 4pm), and Saturday March 5 (8am – 4pm)
Cost: $105 – includes manual and certificate of completion.

What: NSCAA Youth Level III training course
Course is 13-hour 2-day course with the objective to help coaches create the optimal learning environment for players at the developmental stage (U6 thru U10).
When: Register NOW – Course is Saturday, March 19, 2011 and Sunday March 20, 2011
Cost: $80 – includes manual and certificate of completion.
Where: Donegal Middle School (in Marietta , PA )
