Are you looking for your EPASL schedule for Over 30 and Over 40 Men? We’ve just posted the schedules for both leagues for the Fall 2011 season:

EPASL Over 30 Fall 2011 Schedule

EPASL Over 40 Fall 2011 Schedule

PostHeaderIcon First Over-50 Soccer Game of the Fall Season Tomorrow 9/14/11

Just a reminder that the first Over–50 game of this fall season will start tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 14, at 7:00 at the Quarry.

You MUST be registered to play. If you are already registered with an over-40 team Bryan should have your registration from that team, and your cost is only $5 for the season. This does not include referee costs which will still be collected by the team captains before each game, approximately $5/ a person. If you are NOT registered anywhere, your cost is $20 for the whole season which includes your official registration to the state, and secondary insurance coverage (mandatory.)

Bryn will be there around 6pm  for registration.

PostHeaderIcon Youth Soccer Night At Millersville: 9/17/11

Come out next Saturday night, September 17, as the Millersville Men’s Soccer team takes on PSAC Conference rival East Stroudsburg at 6pm at Chryst Field on the beautiful campus of Millersville University. It will be Youth Soccer Night and we are encouraging all youth soccer players to attend and wear their uniforms!

All Millersville soccer games are always entertaining and a good time for fans with high quality soccer! The team is currently 1-0 on the season after beating Tusculum College, Tennessee in the season opener 2-0. All regular season home games are free of charge!

    At the game:

    • Youth players will get to meet Skully – the Millersville Mascot throughout the game and he will have little goodies to give out!
    • Also, after the game they are invited down onto the track for a “meet and greet” with the current Millersville Men’s Soccer players and coaches where youth players will be able to get their picture taken with the players, get autographs and ask questions!
    • Lastly, those teams in attendance who reply to me with their team name and coach will have their team announced during the game!

So come out next Sat night to see some high level college soccer right in your back yard!!

Please pass this on to other teams you know and lets have a great turn out next weekend!!

    Thanks for your support!

PostHeaderIcon Assistant Soccer Coach Needed for U-19 Recreation Team in Rheems Area

soccer coach chalkboardDo you know anyone who would be interested in volunteering as an assistant coach for a U19 boys soccer recreation team?  All of the coaching is volunteer.  The boys range in age from 14-17.  The skill level varies greatly.  They practice on Tuesday & Thursday evenings 5:30 – 7:30 in Rheems.  They have games this fall on six Saturdays (2-mornings & 4-afternoons).  They have a tournament on October 8th or 9th.  All of the tournament games will be played on the same day.

Any help is appreciated.  It really takes two or more people to keep things moving at practices and games.  Please contact contact Barry Sheesley either by cell phone or email at 717-808-7534 or sheesleys(at)comcast.net.
